How do I check my active Pass?

1 Download the HOTLINK mobile app for Android or iOS.

2 Go to the front page of the HOTLINK app and follow the "internet" link.



3 You will see all active Passes listed (only if you still have an active Pass).

My card is activated but it is not working on my mobile phone.

1 Make sure data roaming is turned on.

2 For some old Android phone models, you need to switch off the phone and turn it on again.

It is usually more costly to activate a Thailand roaming package.

How do I purchase an internet/calls extension pass?

1 Various time extension passes are available under the HOTLINK app. For example, 1-day Pass (MYR 3), 7-day Pass (MYR 12), 30-day Pass (MYR 35) etc. Purchase a pass through the HOTLINK app. Alternatively, you may also dia *100#.

2 If you have insufficient credit in your HOTLINK account, please top up before purchasing a pass.

4 A new SIM card has MYR 5 credit.

How do I top up my HOTLINK account?

IMPORTANT Please make sure the SIM card is still not expired before topping up.





1 Top-up value tickets can be purchased at 7-Eleven, myNEWS, 99 Speedmart, mini-marts, petrol kiosks, etc.

1 At the nearest HOTLINK dealer.

2 Via “Touch N Go” or other eWallet apps.

3 Via Malaysia online banking.

4 Via credit cards in the HOTLINK app.

5 Via Kasikorn Bank deposit. See the tab "Top-Up via Kasikorn Bank".

IMPORTANT Make sure your SIM card is still valid (check in the HOTLINK app).

Can I use the SIM card in Singapore or other ASEAN countries?

If you wish to use the SIM card in other ASEAN countries such as Singapore, you need to purchase a Data Roam Pass.

What is a Data Roam Pass?
Data Roam Pass is a roaming Mobile Internet pass that allows the subscriber to access internet browsing whilst travelling overseas. List of Data Roam Pass available for Hotlink, are:

1 day pass: ASEAN RM10, Asia Pacific RM20, Other countries RM38
3 day Pass: ASEAN RM20 (9 countries), Asia Pacific RM30 (16 countries)
7 day pass: ASEAN RM30 (9 countries), Asia Pacific RM50 (16 countries), Europe RM50 (33 countries)
14 day pass: Europe RM70 (33 countries)

How do I subscribe to a Data Roam Pass?
You may activate via Easy Menu:

- Dial *100#
- Select Intl Roaming
- Select any Country
- Buy the required pass

Will I be notified of the subscription status?
You will receive an SMS when your pass has been successfully activated. Alternatively, you can check your status by dialling *100#

I have purchased 1 Day Data Roam Pass in Singapore. Can I use the same pass in Indonesia on the same day?
No, 1 Day Data Roam Pass is country-specific. If you are travelling to multiple countries a day, you will need to activate Data Roam Pass and browse the respective preferred operators in each country.

Can I use Data Roam Pass in Malaysia?
No, Data Roam Pass is exclusively for international roaming ONLY.

How can I check the pass validity or usage?
You can check both the pass validity and data usage by dialing *100# > International Roaming > Check Status.
